The short version

We collect your email address so we can send you the brief you asked for. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and you can have it deleted by asking. We run no analytics and the website sets no cookies.

What we collect

• ·Your email address, when you create an account or subscribe to a brief.
• ·Account records, such as when you signed up, when you confirmed, and which briefs you receive.
• ·Email delivery information, such as whether a message was delivered or bounced.
• ·Ordinary server logs from our hosts, which may include an IP address and are used for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect payment details. Nothing on this site can be purchased today, and when that changes this policy will be updated first.

Why we hold it

To send you the briefs you asked for, to keep your account working, and to keep the service secure. That is all.

Analytics and cookies

This website runs no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind, and it sets no cookies. The reader application at app.macrotradeiq.com sets one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Our emails contain no tracking pixels, so we do not know whether you opened one.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need to run the publication: our website host, our application host, and the service that delivers our email. They process your data on our instructions and for no other purpose. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded. Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting reasons are kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. Residents of California and several other states have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone. Email contact@macrotradeiq.com and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows.

Unsubscribing

Every brief carries an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you. Unsubscribing stops the email; ask us to delete the account if you want the address gone entirely.

Children

The service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post any change here and update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to subscribers.
